In what may have been a case of sheer driver negligence, emergency crews responded to reports Tuesday night where a semi drove into the ditch and rolled over.

The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the Highway 39 twinning construction zone, and Estevan RCMP, EMT, and Fire Rescue attended the scene.

There were no reported injuries, and alcohol did not appear to be a factor.

As well, the goods carried on board were deemed non hazardous. According to the RCMP, the load consisted of soy farm-based product.

Items were unloaded from the unit and removed from the scene, so that the truck could be lifted out and placed back on it's wheels.
