Opportunities abound for southeast residents from the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA). They are holding a series of job fairs in the southeast so people can see what a career as a CBSA officer is all about.

Luke Reimer with the CBSA is encouraging people to find out what's available.

"A career as a CBSA officer is exciting, it's engaging, you're doing something different every day," said Reimer. "And I think the number one thing is that you really go home knowing that you made a difference in protecting Canadians that day."

Reimer added they are hiring officers in Torquay, Oungre, and Regway as well as several other points of entry.

Those interested will have a chance for some face time with CBSA officers at Travelodge on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. They are also holding career fairs in Moosomin on Monday and Estevan on Tuesday.
