Weyburn's 13th annual Show and Shine was a fun time for families this Saturday, despite having less cars to look at than previous years.

Organizers said attendance was good but registration of cars was down from previous years. One hundred and seventy-two cars were registered this year, down from over 200 last year. Organizers sited possible reasons for the drop such as high gas prices, two other car shows in Moose Jaw and Pense, and bad conditions on Highway 35. This was the first year registration was down since the flood of 2011.

Attendees raved about the ood and entertainment, which included local bands The Yahoos and Gary Cooney and Friends.
