A short agenda for Weyburn City Councillors last night.

Two highlights from the meeting included a report from the Airport Board and a donation to Tatagwa Parkway.

74 airplanes made use of the airport in the month of August, while that number was up to 104 in September.

Councillor Dick Michel said "We just started tracking this after Mr. Kerr passed away, and we're just getting into it. Now I want to break them down, if I can get oil related and agricultural related. That's going to take some effort, but I think we can do it. And I think thing will happen more, now that we have jet fuel. Things are going well at the airport"

Councillor Michel adds they are currently looking at the budget for 2016, which will include line painting and taking care of some of the hangers.

Also last night, Councillor Nancy Styles reported a $1500 donation to the Tatagwa Parkway for trees.

"Weyburn Rotary has been a partner with Tatagwa Parkway since it's inception and they've always helped either in kind or giving money. and so they donated $1500 dollars to buy trees and so we are going to start out in a specific spot. The trees are going to be going near the dog park on the Red Coat Trail" said Styles.

She added that they are going to purchase a species of trees that stands up to Saskatchewan conditions.
