Two hockey players with Weyburn connections are starting to make a name for themselves across the province.

The Saskatchewan Hockey Association held their summer camp for the U16 Sask First squad earlier this month. The camp saw 40 players under the age of 16 invited out.

Drew Englot and Ethan Ernst were chosen for the Top 26 players for the Sask First U16 team. The team competes in the U16 West Challenge Cup in the fall.

Englot and Ernst played with the Notre Dame Bantam AAA Hounds last season. They will both be playing Midget AAA hockey at Notre Dame this season.
