The baseball tournament at the Western Canada Summer Games started Wednesday, with two games for Team Saskatchewan. They took on Alberta in their opening game, then finished off the day against Manitoba.

It would be a rough day for Saskatchewan, as both of the games would end in losses. 

In the first game, Alberta doubled up Team Saskatchewan for a 10-5 victory. The second game saw Manitoba win 12-2.

The tournament continues Thursday with Saskatchewan again playing two games. At 2:00 p.m. they play Team Alberta. They then take on Team Manitoba at 6:00 p.m.

Team Saskatchewan’s roster includes Weyburn’s Rylan Erb.
