A strong showing by the Weyburn Silver Seals at provincials on the weekend. The 23 athletes representing the Opportunity City came home with a total of 59 medals.

Weyburn was lead by Dalton Molnar. He picked up gold medals in the 100m Freestyle, 100m Breaststroke, 25m Butterfly and 50m Butterfly while also finishing second in the 200m Medley. His performance was enough for him to win the title for most points in the Boys 11/12 category.

On the boys' side, Ruslan Edgerton had a strong showing, with a bronze in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke races, and fifth in the 50m Butterfly.

Jacob Gill had a gold in the 25m Backstroke, and silver in the 50m Backstroke and 50m Breaststroke. He finished fourth in the 25m Freestyle and 25m Breaststroke.

Nash Hignett finished 6th in the 50m Breaststroke and 11th in the 25m Butterfly.

Ryder Hignett picked up a bronze medal in the 200m Freestyle while completing the 50m Backstroke in 8th, and 100m Backstroke in fifth.

McLaren Istace wrapped up the 25m Freestyle in ninth and the 50m Freestyle in 8th.

A strong performance from Emerson Jack, who was 3rd in the 50m Freestyle. He added silver medals in the 25m Butterfly and 50m Butterfly.

Tauren Jack was 6th in the 50m Freestyle, fourth in the 100m Freestyle, fifth in the 50m Backstroke and 4th in the 100m Backstroke.

Tre Thompson added to the medal count for Weyburn with silver medals in the 50m Freestyle, 200m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly and 200m Medley. He also came in fifth in the 100m Breaststroke.

Dylan Van Staveren was 9th in the 50m and 100m Freestyle, and 4th in the 25m Butterfly. He also captured a bronze in the 50m Breaststroke.

Thomas Van Staveren was eighth in the 100m Freestyle and 6th in the 50m Breaststroke.

On the girls' side, Rumina Edgerton picked up four medals, including gold in the 200m Backstroke. She added silver in the 200m Freestyle, and bronze in the 100m Freestyle and 100m Backstroke. She was also fifth in the 50m Butterfly.

Kristen Fortune was 12th in the 50m Freestyle and 10th in the 200m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly.

Emily Kirkpatrick came in 7th in the 25m Freestyle. She was 6th in the 25m Butterfly, 5th in the 25m Breaststroke, 8th in the 25m Backstroke and 9th in the 50m Backstroke.

Marley Kradovill captured the gold medal in the 50m Butterfly. She added 7th in the 100m Freestyle, and 6th in the 50m Freestyle. She also finished 4th in the 25m Butterfly.

Tamberley Kreger was 4th in the 50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke. She was 6th in the 100m Breaststroke and captured gold in the 100m Backstroke.

Avryelle Molnar bringing four medals back to Weyburn, with a gold in the 25m Freestyle, silver in the 50m Freestyle and 25m Butterfly, and a bronze in the 25m Breaststroke. She also finished 4th in t50m Breaststroke.

Daisy Popescu was 10th in the 25m Freestyle, 12th in the 50m Freestyle and 9th in the 25m Backstroke.

Kara Zelyck was 11th in the 100m Freestyle, 6th in the 200m Freestyle, 10th in the 100m Backstroke, and 9th in both the 100m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly.
