The Saskatchewan Roughriders with a big signing Tuesday morning.

The CFL team announced they have signed 2018 first round draft pick, offensive lineman Dakoda Shepley to a one year deal, with an option for the 2021 season.

Shepley spent four seasons with the UBC Thunderbirds, playing in 32 games. He was named a Canada West All-Star in 2017, and was part of the 2015 Vanier Cup winning team.

After his time at UBC, Shepley signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets in April of last year. He attended training camp, and played in three preseason games.
