The Weyburn Red Wings have added to their depth at goaltender.

The team picked up Matthew Chan, a 19-year-old netminder, from the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canadian Hockey League in Ontario. Going back to the Raiders is a player development fee.

Chan spent last season with the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL, where he posted a GAA of 2.53, and a save percentage of .920. He earned 17 wins in the crease in 31 appearances.

In limited time with Nepean this season, he has a GAA of 3.16, and a save percentage of .895 while making just seven appearances.
