The season is over for the Weyburn Iron Pigs. They travelled to Regina to take on the Dodgers in the QVBL wildcard game, but it would be the Dodgers coming out on top with an 8-5 victory.

Weyburn did jump out to an early 5-0 lead in the top of the second, but the Dodgers chipped away at the lead with three runs in the second, two more in the third, and three in the fifth.

On the mound for the Beavers, the duties were split between Andrew Sillers, Adam Wilson and Luke Niemegeers. Niemegeers led the way with four strikeouts, Sillers picked up one.

Mike Onstad chipped in two RBI at the plate, while Troy Miller reached base three times, with two hits and a walk.
