Weyburn's Graham DeLaet lasted four holes yesterday during round three of the Barracuda Championship before withdrawing due to a back injury. You could call this his second withdraw of the week, as a clerical error originally showed him as withdrawn on Monday before a correction was made on Tuesday evening.

The Saskatchewan native had racked up 10 points during round one and two, making the cut on the number. He returned to Montrêux Golf and Country Club yesterday morning and swallowed three straight bogeys followed by a par. His last lasered shot was an approach shot at the par-4 fifth hole that landed in the greenside bunker.

Currently in the field for next week's Wyndham Championship, this may have been a precautionary withdraw, but we will monitor his status and provide any further updates if they get passed along before next week's big event. In 170 career starts, this is his fifth mid-tournament withdraw, first since the 2015 RBC Canadian Open (thumb injury).

DeLaet is scheduled to be back on the green on Thursday, August 17th in Greensboro, North Carolina.
