Graham DeLaet will be looking to improve his standing in the FedEx Cup rankings this weekend, as he plays in the Dell Technologies Championship. The tournament, the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs, was formerly known as the Deutsche Bank Championship and is played at TPC Boston, in Massachusetts.

DeLaet is entering the tournament 74th in the rankings. He will need to be 70th or better at the end of the weekend if he wants to advance to the next round of the playoffs. Based on his performance in the past at this course, he has a strong chance of doing so.

The last time DeLaet teed off in this tournament, in 2014, he fired a 1-under for the tournament and finished in a tie for 50th. In 2013, he was 3rd, wrapping up the weekend with an 18-under. He has only failed to make the cut in the tournament once, and that was in 2012.

Some are wondering about the status of DeLaet’s health for the weekend. He had withdrawn from The Northern Trust last week due to back pain. He had finished his first hole of the second round when he made the decision.
