When Troy Tulowitzki comes back from the disabled list, Ryan Goins knows his playing time at shortstop will be limited. After Wednesday night’s performance, though, the team may just start looking for ways to insert him into the lineup. He had a grand slam, the first in his career, as the Blue Jays doubled up the Milwaukee Brewers 8-4.

The grand slam in the sixth inning was one of four long balls from the bats of the Blue Jays in the game. Kevin Pillar, Jose Bautista, and Devon Travis also went yard, as the bats of the Jays looked like the team of old.

On the mound, Marcus Stroman allowed four hits, and four walks, as he won his fourth straight game. He pitched into the sixth inning before a three-run homer from Domingo Santana spelled the end of his night. The Toronto bullpen took over from there, retiring 10 of the final 11 batters the Brewers sent to the plate.

The Blue Jays have Thursday off before they return to action Friday. They host the Texas Rangers at the Rogers Centre.
