The Big Six Hockey League wrapped up the regular season Sunday night, with a game between the Carlyle Cougars and the Carnduff Red Devils. The Devils were already assured of first in the league standings, while Carlyle will finish eighth.

The game finished in a 7-2 final in favour of the Red Devils. Trevor Geiger scored two goals. Nico Anderson, Brandon Trask, Cody Moore, Matt Audette and Kody Martin also tallied for Carnduff.

Kelly Currie and Mark Shaw replied for Carlyle.

The Red Devils will now prepare to face the Cougars in the first round of the Big Six Hockey League playoffs. The dates have yet to be determined for the best-of-three series.

While preparing for league playoffs, Carlyle will also be getting set for provincials. They host Theodore for the first game of a two-game, total point series on Saturday.
