Weyburn did break the shutout in the ninth inning when Brady Nygaard hit his second home run of the season. Aside from the home run, the Beavers managed to get eight other hits in the game. They did leave 11 runners on base.

Cody Pamperin was the starting pitcher for the Beavers, and he went six innings, giving up four earned runs while striking out five. Brodie Stairs came on in relief, and went two innings, giving up three runs.

The Beavers will be back in action Wednesday night when they head to Regina to face the White Sox. The Beavers picked up an 8-6 win in their last visit to Currie Field. The next home game for Weyburn will be Friday when they host the Yorkton Cardinals at Tom Laing Park.
