The Bantam AA Crescent Point Wings are off to a strong start at the Graham Tuer Memorial Challenge in Regina. They have a record of 1-0-1 after their opening two round robin games.

They kicked things off Thursday morning, against Prairie Storm. The team skated to a 2-2 tie. Ryker Watt and Parker Douglas scored for the Wings in the win. Jake Young was named the player of the game.

The second game of the day was against Martensville. Rylan Erb scored twice for the Wings, and Tanner Rowland and Dylan Birnie added singles as Weyburn beat Martensville 4-3. Lucas Day made 50 saves for the win between the pipes.

The Wings finish up the round robin Friday afternoon when they take on the Interlake Lightning out of Manitoba. The playoffs begin Saturday morning.
