The Bantam AA Whitecap Resources Wings travel to Swift Current Saturday for a matchup against the Swift Current Broncos Saturday afternoon. The Wings are coming off a big win at Crescent Point Place Tuesday over the Broncos, with a final score of 6-2.

Weyburn enters the game tied for second place in the South Division of the SAAHL, three points back of the first place Regina Pat Blues.

This season, the Wings have been lead by Ryker Watt and Cooper Walbaum. Watt has picked up 24 points on the season, including 16 goals, while Walbaum has 22 points, thanks to 14 assists.

The Bantam AA Wings also have two of their players who have been invited to the Sask First Bantam Tournament in Saskatoon in February. Defenseman Dallen Oxelgren and goaltender Dylan Ernst received the invites earlier this week.

The Wings have a reliable tandem in goal so far this season. Ernst has carried the bulk of the work, posting a record of 8-6, with a GAA of 2.53 and save percentage of .929. Ryan Hicks has gone 2-2-1 in five games this year.

The game in Swift Current will be at 12:45 Saturday. The next home game for the Bantam AA Wings will be Tuesday when they host the Notre Dame Hounds at Crescent Point Place.
