Prairie Storm then pulled away, scoring six more goals, three in the second, and three in the third. The tallies included two shorthanded goals.

The Bantam Wings would reply with one more goal in the last half of the third period. Ryker Watt scored a power-play goal with 5:50 remaining. The goal his second of the year was assisted by Parker Douglas and Cooper Chisholm.
