It will be busy in Weyburn and the surrounding communities this weekend, with several events taking place in and around the Opportunity City.

The Weyburn Minor Softball Association will be hosting an upcoming Canpitch Clinic at the Weyburn Spark Centre on Saturday, March 25th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Vilcu's Academy of Martial Arts will be hosting their 38th annual International Martial Arts Championship Tournament on Saturday, March 25th, at Weyburn Comprehensive School Eagles Gym at 10:00 a.m.

The 30th annual Doctor Brown Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 25th, at Oungre Memorial Regional Park (OMRP) in the rink area. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

The Radville Wildlife Federation's 17th annual Fish Fry and Fundraiser night is on March 25th and held at the Radville Regional high school gymnasium.

The supper features Saskatchewan boneless northern pike and roast beef, and gets underway at 5:00 p.m. The event is first come, first serve at the door and tickets are not available to purchase ahead of time.

Weyburnite Kearstin Pfeifer, a recording artist now based out of Calgary, will be hosting a FREE concert this Saturday at the Weyburn Free Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m.

There's a good possibility of a Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings game this Sunday, March 26th at 7:00 p.m., if they win their game tonight (Friday, March 24th) against the Battlefords North Stars. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
