Residents of Radville are being asked to only use water if they absolutely have to, as the reservoir is close to empty.

A spokesperson for the town said they are unable to pump water to their water treatment plant, and they only have a limited amount of reserves at the water treatment plant to use.

The Water Security Agency encourages the residents to adhere to the town’s request for them to conserve water until the pump is fixed to help maintain pressure and for fire protection. Some conservation measures include limiting the use to food preparation, taking shorter showers, and delaying doing laundry.

Contractors and staff are on-site fixing the problem, and it's expected to be repaired before the end of the day.
