Weyburn’s Soo Line Museum recently opened for the season.

The non-profit museum displays the largest private silver collection in the world, along with many artifacts from Weyburn and the surrounding area.

“We've had a pretty steady stream of people coming,” said Museum Tour Coordinator, Lauren McKinney. “The museum is just a fun place and an interesting place to tour through for families or just individuals who are looking to know a little bit about the history of our local area.”

Later this month the Queen’s Jubilee High Tea is taking place at the museum.

“The museum will be open for free admission and we're excited to see how it turns out,” said McKinney. “There's a brunch that if someone wants to take part, they have to pre-register but otherwise, there will be bouncy houses and face painting outside of the museum.”
