The U15 AA Weyburn Annugas Wings were on the ice Thursday night at Crescent Point Place, entertaining Prairie Storm. The Wings would pull close late in the game, but the visitors would score three goals to skate to an 8-4 win. 

Prairie Storm threw everything they had at the Weyburn net, finishing the night with 46 shots on goaltender Nicolas Forsyth. He would make 38 saves in the loss. 

The visitors finished the first period with a 3-1 lead, the lone goal for Weyburn coming from Aidan Mohan with 8:23 left to play in the period. The goal was assisted by Evan Guest. 

In the second period, both teams managed to find the back of the net twice, with Justin Whitrow scoring on the power play at the 6:27 mark, then Morgan Lacoste also scoring a power play goal, his coming with 6:21 left to play in the period. The Whitrow goal was assisted by Lacoste and Ryder Gilroy. The Lacoste goal was assisted by Gilroy and Langston Gold. 

Weyburn started the third period with their third power play goal in the game. Brennan Brown scored just 1:01 into the period to make it 5-4, assisted by Lacoste and Whitrow. Prairie Storm, though, would score three more goals to skate to the victory. 

The U15 AA Wings are now off from league action until January 15th, when they host the Notre Dame Hounds at Crescent Point Place.
