There aren't many chances to go trick or treating in the summer, but this Saturday you can go twice!

Mainprize Regional Park will be holding its annual Halloween in the Park, and Nickle Lake is hosting Halloween at the Lake for the second year in a row.

Halloween in the Park will take place at Mainprize from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

“They can bring the kids out in their costumes, and go around the park and collect some candy from either our campers or our residents in this big area," said General Manager of Mainprize Regional Park, Michelle Walsh. "They'll probably get a ton of it.”

Afterward, trick or treating is happening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nickle Lake for Halloween at the Lake. This is followed by a costume contest and haunted glow golf.

"It's a super fun weekend and it's nice that the kids don't have to wear their snowsuits under their costumes," said Kylie Beck, Office Supervisor at Nickle Lake Regional Park.
