5:50pm - Environment Canada cancelled the thunderstorm warning that was issued at 4:35pm. The thunderstorm watch remains in effect.

Environment Canada issued a thunderstorm warning for the R.M. of Weyburn, including the City of Weyburn and the village of McTaggart, just after 4:30 p.m.

They are tracking a severe thunderstorm that was north of Goodwater, heading northeast towards Weyburn when the alert was issued. 

The storm is said to be capable of very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. The radar information for the approaching storm shows heavy rain.

The storms that have been moving through southeast Saskatchewan this afternoon have produced heavy rain, and there have also been reports of funnel clouds. There have been no reports of tornadoes at this time.
