Weyburn's Brennen Jones and Team Knapp were back on the ice yesterday representing Saskatchewan at the Tim Horton's Brier.

They took to the ice with a 1-1 record and were facing the 2-0 Alberta team, skipped by Kevin Koe.

Alberta opened the scoring, laying two in the first end and then held Saskatchewan to a single in the second. After blanking two ends, it looked like Alberta had blown the game wide open in the fifth, laying three.

Team Sask, however, weren't giving up, scoring a single in the sixth and then stealing in the seventh and eighth.

It was Team Koe that came away with the win though, laying 3 in the ninth end for a final score of 8-4.

Team Sask will sit out the next two draws before taking on Jake Higg's Nunavut team. That game is tonight at 6:00.
