A shelter-in-place warning from the RCMP Friday morning in the Langham area was called off in the afternoon after the discovery of a body in that community. 

In the update, RCMP stated they had found a body in a home that had been on fire earlier in the day, and it is believed that the body was that of Justin Heimbecker, the suspect in a shooting that prompted the shelter-in-place warning. 

Early Friday, police responded to the report of a shooting in Langham. One person was confirmed dead at that time, and the police began a search for the suspect. While the search was underway, RCMP were asking residents in the area to stay in their homes, lock their doors, and to not leave.
