The strike continues for support staff at the province's two biggest Universities.

Striking support workers at Saskatchewan's two largest universities have voted 85 per cent to reject the employer's latest contract offer.

The 2,400 workers -- members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees -- cast ballots yesterday and today at the universities of Saskatchewan and Regina.

The offer would have provided workers with an average increase in wages and benefits of 17.85 per cent over three years.

A concilliator will now return to the talks to try to end the strike that began on November 2.
