Journey back in time with Heritage Village Days! The two-day event will take place on August 5 and 6 at Heritage Village with activities the whole family can enjoy.

“We’re going to have live demos such as butter making, ice cream, blacksmith, rope making, fur trapping, bread making, a steam engine, and a print press,” said Tori Mahnke, Tour Coordinator.

“We’re also going to have activities such as fire truck rides, a splash zone for the kids, a game area, a colouring booth, face painting, and a treasure hunt,” continued Mahnke.

Mahnke also shared that a bake sale and a raffle will also be taking place in the office building right across from the concession.

Kids are encouraged to bring their bathing suits so that they can enjoy the splash zone, and parents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, and lots of sunscreen so they can stay all day in the Village on both days.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. on August 5 and run until 8 p.m. and again on August 6 until 6 p.m. There will be no entrance fee, however, they will be taking donations at the door.
