There are many activities taking place at Nickle Lake Regional Park on Saturday, July 30 for Nickle Lake Day.

Things will start off with a free pancake breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by the car show. The beer gardens will open at 12:00 p.m., and run until 11:00 p.m. with live music playing throughout the day.

“We will also have a slo-pitch tournament,” said Kylie Beck, Office Manager for Nickle Lake Regional Park.  “Then the Nickle Lake Market goes from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.”

From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there will be bouncy castles, crafts, and other activities for kids at the event. Glow golf starts at 9:00 p.m., and safe rides to and from Weyburn will be available.

Before Nickle Lake Day starts, beach yoga is being offered on Friday, July 29. All of the proceeds are going to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

“We are really excited and looking forward to Friday and Saturday,” said Beck. “This is always an event that goes over really well, so we're hoping to see lots of people out in the park this weekend.”

The cost to attend is the gate fee, which is $10 per day, or $50 for the season.
