More than one thousand members form all over the province are participating in the second full day of the 2008 SARM mid-term convention in Saskatoon today.

The convention is addressing several issues facing rural municipalities.

SARM President David Marit says physician supply in Urban and Rural Saskatchewan is one isue they are addressing at the convention.

SARM is also requesting continued and improved funding for many of its infrastructure programs.

Revenue sharing is another issue being discussed.

Several reports and resolutions are being presented at the convention which is set to wrap up this afternoon.
