In February the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) will be holding an ASIST Workshop (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).

“It's a two-day interactive skills workshop with an emphasis on suicide first aid. It provides essential information on how to recognize if somebody might be having thoughts of suicide and how to work through that with them to support their safety and how to seek further help if needed,” explained Tasha Collins, Director of Weyburn Branch, CMHA.

The workshop will run from February 22 and 23 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The registration deadline is February 14, and the cost is $200.

To register you can contact Tasha at (306)842-7959. You can follow CMHA on its Facebook page here
