The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings will be continuing their homestand tonight as they welcome the Notre Dame Hounds to Crescent Point Place. This game will be the second of four at home.

The Red Wings are coming into the game having lost their past seven games.

This will be the second visit of the season to Crescent Point Place for Notre Dame. The season series is tied at a game each.

Then, Saturday, the Flin Flon Bombers will come into Weyburn. The Red Wings have had some successes against the Bombers, including a 5-2 win over the Bombers at the Whitney Forum on December 10th. The game will also mark the return to the Opportunity City for Drew Kuzma, who was acquired by Flin Flon in a trade back in early January.

After the game on Saturday, the Red Wings will hold their Calcutta Shootout. The shootout is a fundraiser for the Weyburn Red Wings Education Fund. It helps players pursue post-secondary education after their junior hockey career. A portion of the proceeds from the shootout will be going to the fund, with another portion being split among the three winning bidders.

You can make your bids on their Facebook page. The participants include the players on the team and a number of others.
