A kayak was reported stolen from a back yard of a residence in Weyburn between April 19th and 20th.

Deputy Chief Brent VanDeSype with the Weyburn Police Service is hoping somebody saw something.

"An owner here contacted the City Police and made us aware that they were missing a kayak, from their backyard," he shared.

The kayak is Pelican brand, is 10 feet in length, and is blue and white.

"It's not a folding one, so it's definitely visible, and probably ended up either walking down the street or else in the back of a truck," VanDeSype noted. "Quite likely this was the middle of the night, but they might notice that someone that didn't have one just prior to this date may now have one that fits that description."

He asks anyone who has seen the kayak to call the police at 306-848-3250 or, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
