With the first round of the NHL playoffs half way over I wanted to talk hockey for a second.  As most great fans know the key rule during playoffs for true hockey fans is consistency.  I am talking about watching each game, sitting in the same spot, watching with the same people, drinking the same drink, wearing the same clothes (gross I know), and so on and so forth.

Now for myself I have been called an over zealous fan.  For example I am Phoenix Coyotes fan.  A rare breed I know.  Anyways for the first game against the Detroit Red Wings I was sitting on the right side of a couch at a friends place with 2 other people, wearing my Coyotes hat, jersey, and my lucky jeans and the Coyotes WON.  Second game (2 nights later) I sat on the left side of the couch, wearing my Coyotes hat, jersey, and my lucky jeans this time with 7 other people at the house and Detroit won.  Yes I was upset but I wanted things to go back to the way they used to be.  So game 3 comes.  There I am sitting on the right side of a couch at a friends place with 2 other people, wearing my Coyotes hat, jersey, and my lucky jeans and the Coyotes WON.  In my mind everything is back to the way they need to be.  My Actions are effecting the outcome of the NHL playoffs.  Now for game 4.  There I am sitting on the right side of a couch at a friends place, wearing my Coyotes hat, jersey, and my lucky jeans, this time I was alone.  Needless to say Detroit won.
