There will be a new principal coming to St. Michael School in Weyburn.

After it was announced by Southeast College that the current principal of the school, Dean Loberg, was taking on the role of Vice-President of Academic and Learning and Teaching at the institution, the search was started by Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division for a new principal.

Monday morning, the division announced the search was over, and a new principal had been hired, with a start date of July 1st of this year, right after the end of the current academic year.

Sabrina Gulka will be taking on the role. Guilka has served as the vice-principal at St. Michael since 2014 and has been employed by HFRCSSD since 2010. She currently has a Bachelor of Education Degree, and a Master of Education Administration Degree, both of which are from the University of Regina.
