Weyburn's Quinn Mantei was on the ice this weekend as part of the Calgary Flames Young Stars Classic team. 

Mantei, who was last year's Brandon Wheat Kings Defenceman of the year, has been partaking in the Calgary Flames NHL Training Camp. 

He had the opportunity to show off his skills on Saturday when the Young Stars from the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers went head-to-head. Although full stats are not available for that game, Mantei did not shy away from blocking shots and adding assists to the Flames 4-3 overtime win.

The Flames will wrap up their Young Stars Classic tonight against Winnipeg. The roster for that game has not yet been released.
