The Blue Jays scored 3 times in the 8th inning last night and the bullpen held on in a 5-4 win over Oakland.

 

Lyle Overbay's 2 run double in the 8th gave Toronto a 5-2 lead, but closer Jeremy Accardo allowed 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th before Casey Janssen came in to clean up and hold on to the win.

The Jays have won 3 of their last 4 games and don't look now have moved to withing 7 games of Seattle in the American League Wildcard.

Toronto goes for the 3 game series sweep this afternoon in Oakland.

14-6 Roy Halladay gets the start on the mound for Toronto.
