9 percent of this year's crop has already been combined in the Southeast, with another 19 percent waiting to be straight combined.

Top soil moisture conditions did improve thanks to the rain, but in some areas crop leeching and staining was reported.

Some damage was also reported due to insects.

So far 12 % of the barley, 4% of canola, 12% of mustard, 35 % of lentil, 41% of peas, and 6% of chick peas have already been combined in the Southeast.
