Nickle Lake will be hosting Halloween at the Lake for the second year in a row. It'll be taking place on Saturday.

"We will have site decorating and costume contests out here, trick-or-treating will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and then at 8:00 p.m., we will do our costume contest. Then we have haunted glow golf from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.," said Office Supervisor at Nickle Lake Regional Park, Kylie Beck.

She said the turnout last year was amazing, which is why they decided to do it again this year.

"Last year we had about 125 seasonal sites that bought candy to hand out and we had people from all over coming to this event."

The best part is the only thing that will cost you anything is getting into the park which is $10 for a day pass, everything else is free. They will even have prizes for the best costume and a few other categories including the best-decorated site.

"It's a super fun weekend and it's nice that the kids don't have to wear their snowsuits under their costumes."

Enjoy Halloween a little early this year and ask your dentist for forgiveness later!

For those who will be at Mainprize this weekend, they'll be hosting Halloween in the Park once again as well, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., and nothing is stopping folks from going to both events for even more candy.
