A free curling clinic for all ages was held in Griffin this past Saturday, January 21st, at the Griffin Recreation Centre. Board Member Stacey Szczecinski said that 18 people pre-registered for the clinic and fun was had by all. The following are a few photos captured from the event.
There was two hours of instructive practice and drills, followed by a free lunch and a scrimmage.
The curling clinic was held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on January 21st.
Everyone was getting in lots of practice and instruction at the free curling clinic.
It looks to be a shot rock closest to the button.
The Griffin Recreation Centre is always looking for members to volunteer.
