Family Place comments on Community Fund Grant

The Family Place received a $6,935 Community Fund Grant from the Weyburn Credit Union on Tuesday.

"We were lucky to be one of the recipients of that," shared Judy Lumb, Assistant Executive Director with the Family Place.

"It's going to come in really handy, we're going to be able to buy some new appliances for our kitchen in the new building. It'll be a huge help."

The new building they'll be moving into, which is located on McLelland Street, was purchased last year. The Family Place will move into the new space next year, after the planned renovations, including an addition, are completed.
