With the municipal elections coming up across the province, there will only be one ballot for residents of the town of Radville to vote on.

The returning officer for the town issued an abandonment of poll for the mayoral race in the community, as Rene Bourassa was re-elected by acclamation. No other candidates stepped forward for the position.

For the town council election, there will be a vote held.

There will be an advance poll held on November 4th at the town office from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the election itself being held on November 9th. The polling station for the vote on November 9th will also be at the town office.

For the Rural Municipality of Laurier, there won’t be any votes cast for the reeve or the three councillor positions, as all the roles will be filled by acclamation.

Brad Vanderhurk was the only candidate for reeve and was acclaimed into the position. Allan Tytlandsvik will be the councillor for Division 1, Cody Doud the councillor for Division 3 and Bev Pirio will be the councillor for Division 5.
