Journey down the yellow brick road with the Spirit of Grace performers. The timeless classic, Wizard Oz, Youth Edition is set to hit the stage for three nights, kicking off its first show on Friday, November 10 at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre.
Director Kendra Gonczy shares the exciting details, “We have about 16 kids in the entire production, so it's not a huge cast, but it's a perfect amount. They range from grade 3 all the way to grade 10, and it’s all girls and we have one boy that's our Toto and it has been just a blast to do with them. It's been a great group to bring this musical together.”
The show will run from November 10 to 12, at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m., and with the show starting at 7 p.m. nightly. Tickets are available at the Grace United Church, $15 for adults, ages 9 and 10 are $10 and kids 8 and under are $5.
“Come and enjoy the magical show and see the Emerald City with Dorothy and her gang,” invited Gonczy.
