The Saskatchewan Health Authority reported 189 new cases of COVID-19 in the province Saturday.

The active count decreased by 57 to 2,307. The seven-day average for daily new cases fell by six to 203. And there were four new deaths, bringing the total fatalities to 850.

The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 fell by 12 to 226. Of those, 53 are in ICU. There have also been 23 Saskatchewan patients transferred out of the province for intensive care (one more since Friday's update).

The new cases are located in the Far North West (5), Far North East (2), North West (7), North Central (23), North East (9), Saskatoon (40), Central West (1), Central East (30), Regina (43), South West (4), South Central (3), and South East (19) zones and three (3) new cases have pending residence information.
