The Big Six Hockey League closed out 2021 with a pair of games Thursday night. There were three games originally on the schedule, but the match-up between Carnduff and Redvers was postponed. 

In Moosomin, the hometown Rangers skated to a 10-3 win over the visiting Oxbow Huskies. 

The Rangers were led by Drayson Skulmoski, who finished the night off with two goals and an assist. Devin McGonigal also tallied twice for Moosomin. Also scoring for the Rangers were Brayden Holloway, Justin Lamontagne, Jevon Schwean, Jacob Pillar, and Paul Stapleton.  

Brycen Odgers scored twice for Oxbow, with the third goal coming from Mason Scott. 

In the other game, the Bienfait Coalers held off the Midale Mustangs on home ice to pick up a 5-3 win.  

The Coalers had goals from Wyatt Garagan, Dylan Lay, Daniel Wanner, Dylan Herzberg and laine Herzberg. Replying for Midale was Steven Lindenbach, Brady Bjorndal and Adam Ziegler.  

The Big Six Hockey League will now be off until January 7th, when it will pick up with games between Carlyle and Carnduff, and Bienfait and Wawota.
