Two boys from the Weyburn Eagles High School football team were training and playing football with the Sask U18 Futures Team on the weekend.

Kaleb Charlton, #76, defensive tackle, and Owen Istace, #77, defensive end, spent four days at training camp at Griffiths Stadium in Saskatoon and then travelled to Sherwood Park to take part in the U18 Western Challenge hosted by Football Alberta.

The Sask U18 Futures defeated Team Alberta 38-0 in game 1, and Owen Istace was named defensive game MVP.

The team then played Team BC and won 49-0.
