The 13U AAA Beavers took to the road on Wednesday night, travelling to Regina to take on the Expos. The Beavers would find themselves down early, and the host Expos would hold on to pick up a 10-5 victory.

Weyburn did get on the board in the top of the first, with Kyro Klapak hitting a single to right field that would bring in Ayden Warren and Reid Kosior. The Expos, though, would rally back, with three runs in the bottom half of the first, and three more in the bottom half of the second.

In the third inning, Weyburn would add two more runs. The first came on a double to centre by Cooper Knox that scored Warren from 1st base, and the second run came when Knox was able to reach home from second on a passed ball.

The Expos added two more runs in the bottom of the third to extend the lead to 8-4.

In the fourth, Weyburn would pull within one when Keaton Walter scored on a passed ball to make it 8-5, but two more runs in the bottom of the sixth sealed the game for Regina.

Nixon Fisher, Klapak and Keran Seitz split the duties on the mound in the loss.

The next action for the 13U Beavers will be next Thursday. They host Estevan at Jubilee Park.
