Over $5,000. That is what came in to our Blow Away Hunger campaign on December 5th; $5,055 and an estimated 500 pounds of food.

"It's just wonderful that the community comes together to help us help others," said Salvation Army Major Heather Harbin. "We just want to say thank you to everyone who has been so generous".

So do we!

This money was all thanks to YOU! You came down to the Prairie Sky Co-op Food Store and made your donation to help support this local charity. Of course, there was one extra incentive. A brand new snowblower from Canadian Tire!

We've got the winner (and so much more) in the video below:

A huge thank you to CUPE 5999, Knight Dodge, John Kmita Ltd, Weyburn Carpet One and Weyburn-Big Muddy MLA Dustin Duncan for sponsoring this event and thank YOU for raising over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for Salvation Army!
