The Weyburn Terry Fox Run is set to take place this Sunday at River Park, rain or shine.
And to honor the late great Canadian hero there was a Flag Raising ceremony held in downtown Weyburn.
The Terry Fox flag was hoisted high above Weyburn City Hall for all to see, including Terry Fox's brother Fred who will be visiting Weyburn tomorrow!
Have a look at the video from the day right here (filmed by Angie Braat):
Come to River Park in Weyburn this Sunday and walk, jog, run, wheel or push a stroller. We'll have 3, 6 &10 km options for you to choose from on the Tatagwa Trail. You can create a team if you'd like as well.
You can also donate without running and every donation is accepted. You can donate as little as one dollar if you like. All donations go directly to the Terry Fox Foundation and are greatly appreciated.
Registration: 12 pm - 1 pm
Run Start: 1 pm
Let's work together to fight cancer and find help for those that are suffering from it. Together we can make a big difference. Let's make Terry proud! :-)
