Summer Fun Crew - Roughrider Block Party

This Saturday, the Summer Fun Crew was able to make it down to the Roughrider Block Party that was held at the Weyburn Curling Rink

We were able to check out the awesome Riderville event put on to support Weyburns Minor Football team. The event began at 5:00, and had an amazing turnout!

The evening began with a few special events put on by the Rider Cheer Squad, The Rider pep band, and Gainer the Gopher. Later on, players Bakari Grant and Ed Gainey were available at the event to meet fans, and even sign a few autographs. 

There was also a full service bar with Special Blend spirits for purchase. All the proceeds were given to Weyburn Minor Football and was open for the entirety of the event, along with a Barbecue sponsored by Prairie Sky Co-op that also donated the proceeds to Weyburn Minor Football.

Beginning at 9:00, Rob Bagg and Josh Bartel came down to the event to meet fans and sign autographs as well. 

The Rider Block party was another great event this weekend, and it is awesome to see everyone in the community, as well as players from Saskatchewan's Football team support Weyburn's Minor Football team!
